Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the important and actual for today Ukraine problem of mass redundancy of workers in connection with changes in the organization of production and labor. The mass release of workers as labor-legal phenomenon is investigated and its characteristic features are indicated. It is noted that the mass release of workers as a significant labor-legal phenomenon occurs only when it is carried out on the initiative of the employer.
