CRIMINOLOGY CHARACTERISTICS OF A WOMAN SUSPECTED OF COMMITTING COLLABORATIVE ACTIVITIES

Abstract

Purpose. The aim of the article is to study the peculiarities of the criminological characteristics of a woman who is suspected of committing collaborative activities. Methods. In order to achieve the declared goal and obtain the proper research results, the following set of methods was used: logical-legal method, comparative-legal method, system-functional method, normative-dogmatic method, method of statistical analysis, etc. Results and conclusions. Criminological characteristics of a woman who is suspected of committing collaborative activity includes such elements as: signs, determinants that influence the decision to become a collaborator, motives and other factors that shape her criminal behavior. The criminological portrait of a woman who is suspected of committing collaborative activity consists of the following – she is a citizen of Ukraine aged 29–54 with a higher, basic or specialized secondary education, capable of working, in most cases does not work, has no previous criminal record, who commits collaborative activity for ideological and/or selfish motives or under the influence of socio-economic factors or physical and moral coercion. Understanding the constituent elements of the criminological portrait of a woman who is suspected of committing collaborative activities will contribute to the formation of a mechanism for preventing such types of criminal offenses by developing and implementing programs to prevent collaborative activities (including educational programs aimed at increasing women’s awareness of the risks and consequences of collaboration, programs rehabilitation and resocialization of female collaborators). Also, the study of the criminological characteristics of female collaborators enriches criminological science and contributes to the development of gender studies in criminology, which can be used by law enforcement agencies, social services and non-governmental organizations in order to develop and implement effective measures to counter collaborative activities, etc.
