ADAPTATION OF THE UKRAINIAN LEGISLATION IN THE FIELD OF THE FOOD SAFETY TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION AS ONE OF THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE ASSOCIATION AGREEMENT

Abstract

The main directions of the adaptation of Ukrainian legislation in the field of the food safety to the requirements of the European Union are analyzed in this article and prospects of such adaptation. The author pays attention to the Law of Ukraine «On State control carried out to verify compliance with the law on food, feed, animal by-products, animal health and welfare» adopted on May 18, 2017 and its significance in ensuring the safety of food products.
