LEGAL CONSEQUENCES OF THE DECISIONS OF THE EUROPEAN COURT FOR UKRAINE

Abstract

The article analyzes the legal essence of specific decisions of the European Court of Human Rights on applications against Ukraine. Specific and repeated signs of violations of the human right to a fair trial, fixed by this institution, are revealed. On the basis of this analysis, the measures of individual and general state response have been studied, their expediency and effectiveness have been studied. Specific shortcomings in the actions of government agencies on the implementation of European findings in Ukrainian legislation are given. Suggested regulatory and organizational steps to improve the situation in this area.
