Abstract

In the article, based on the analysis of legal literature, current international and legal acts, taking into account the practice of the European Court of Human Rights, the problems of recognition and normative consolidation of the principle of equality of citizens before the law are considered. The peculiarities of legal regulation of the principle of non-discrimination as an important prerequisite for the implementation of the principle of equality of citizens before the law are analyzed. The problems in this area, in particular, the implementation of international and European standards in practice, are emphasized.
